"Charlotte Ferris Today" was a spinoff of "The Charlotte Ferris Show" that ran for three seasons from 2017-2019 on top of the original show's seven-season run. The first season of the new show premiered in the spring of 2017, featuring characters Charlotte and John from the previous show moved to Raleigh, NC, to start the next phase of their hilarious adventures together.
While other recurring characters from "The Charlotte Ferris Show" made occasional appearances in the spinoff, the new show was very much focused on Charlotte and John, much like earlier seasons of its predecessor. Charlotte is now a professor of photography at Williams College; John an accountant downtown. Misadventures range from John taking one of Charlotte's classes to getting lost on the way to a storage facility...and even a much anticipated date between the two!
As was "The Charlotte Ferris Show," "Charlotte Ferris Today" was AMPCorp's premier series and the flagship project of D-Dowd Productions. The project was produced by CF Pictures likes its predecessor, and ended in 2019 with a combined ten seasons and one hundred episodes between the two shows.
