GK Music was created in response to the Beat's Myth band that formed at AMPCorp in 2005, which at first had no official record lable. GK Music was created to be that record lable, and initially handled exclusively audio productions at AMPCorp. In 2010, GK Music moved into the realm of music videos as well, a domain that had been officially handled by AMP Productions previously. GK Music has had relatively steady output; Beat's Myth created 2 albums a year for several years and has now lowered that number to 1 album per year. Though GK Music does not have access to high quality equipment, it has seen continuous improvments in quality over the years. In 2012, GK Music had a planned expansion and divided its acts into two sub-labels, "Beat's Myth Records" to house the products of Beat's Myth and other bands, and Rikkel Records to manage solo artists. Beat's Myth Records now includes the band Beat's Myth and formerly the disbanded singing group The Ampettes, while Rikkel Records includes soloists Charlotte Ferris and Robyn Moore.
GK Music Labels: Beat's Myth Records (groups and bands), Rikkel Records (solo artists), Crosspoint Records (compilations and multi-artist projects)
