GK Productions was created in the year 2000 to house what was at the time a high quality project, the "GK Star Trek" films which started that year. Until 2004, "GK Star Trek" was this production group's only activity, but with the advent of computer editing at AMPCorp, GK Productions became a leader in advancements. In 2005, the "Philip Krieg" franchise began. By 2007, "Philip Krieg" not only defined GK Productions, but also came to define AMPCorp as a whole. The Philip Krieg Franchise ended in 2013 after 20 films (though GK Productions is planning on continuing to release remasters/re-edits of previous movies). It was replaced immediately by a large project filmed internationally, "Recommendation: Termination," from subdivision Eclipse Pictures. In the coming years, GK Productions plans to fill the void left by the Philip Krieg franchise with similar standalone films. In 2012, GK Productions diversified and had its first non-Philip Krieg project since 2006 and first true short series, "Blackwater," a crime drama. But it has been mainly the Philip Krieg re-edits and similarly styled Eclipse Pictures that have come to define GK Productions post-Philip Kreig.
GK Productions Subdivisions: Philip Krieg Pictures (PK franchise), Point Blank Pictures ("Blackwater" franchise), Eclipse Pictures (Post-PK Films)
